Into the Finals

With the PBR world finals underway the top riders battle to take home the title of  winning the world finals. After the first two rounds, the rider sitting in the number one position is Kody Lostroh and only 126 points behind him is J B Mauney. So going into round three it will only take an eight second ride to move riders to the top of the leader board or knock them off the board. For rider J B Mauney it may only take one ride for him to overtake the number one ranked rider Kody Lostroh. But also along with the finals there is big money to earn one rider can win more money at the world finals than they do at 4 regular PBR events. The world title is up for grabs from last years winner Guilherme Marche.

End of the Season

With one PBR event left in the season before the World Finals in Las Vegas. With this last thats this weekend, event riders who are sitting in 41st and 42nd place still have a chance to make for a good event and clinch a standing in the top 40. With that being said every ride counts, an eight second ride can make or break any chances of making the world finals. Going into the world finals there is race between the top three riders that is going on. Kody Lostroh who sits atop in first with Guilherme Marche in second and J b Mauney in third, both trailing not far behind Lostroh. This has been one of the closest races between the top three riders in PBR history.

Bull riding

It is a sport that is more extreme than any sport out there. It may sound simple to get on the back of  a bull and hold on to a rope for eight seconds. That is the goal, but there is a lot that can happen within those eight seconds. Getting injured is all part of the sport it happens to every professional rider. Wether its a pulled groin or a broken neck it all happens. For as tough and dangerous as it is there are some safety measures that are taken, first is that all riders must wear a protective vest which protects riders from getting stomped on and it protects them from the bulls horns. Riders have also been introduced to wearing helmets, identical to a hockey helmet with some minor modifications. Many of the rookies of the PBR (professional bull riders)  are wearing helmets but the guys that have been around for many years have a hard time adjusting to wearing a helmet. It can be a very exciting sport to watch. I think its an exciting sport because there aren’t many people who are willing to make their living by riding bulls and what they do is very demanding.
